At the Music Club's annual meeting on March 23 Kay Jeffers, Dennis Muehling and Alan Nielsen were inducted into the Music Club's Hall of Fame.....

"The Salty Dawgs" band held driveway concerts in several neighborhoods of SCG during the holiday season.

These are challenging times for all the Clubs and Activities here in the Grand but the Music Club has come up with some creative ways to make it possible for members to be able to join up with other singers – either in a socially distanced group setting or virtually via Zoom. We just must remember that this too shall pass. Meanwhile, let’s do what the Music Club does best – entertain!

Since 2002, the Music Club has been working closely with the Maricopa Community College District Foundation to establish a Sun City Grand Music Club Scholarship at Glendale Community College (GCC) to benefit Music Majors. The initial gift of $2,000 was the first of many annual gifts made by the Club to supplement the Endowment. Today, the Club has donated more than $70,000 to the Endowment which annually awards more than $3,000 to deserving music students.

On Monday, June 15th , the Music Club delivered forty-four lunches to the Emergency Services crew at the Del Webb Banner Hospital.

On Wednesday May 13 members of the Grand Singers, Chorale and Desert Divas, along with a few others, honored some of the unsung heroes in our local hospitals, both Banner Del Webb and Banner Boswell, by providing a scrumptious lunch!

June 23, the Sun City Grand Music Club launches its new website on the Club Express platform. After months of work we are pleased with the new design and features available using the Club Express membership management software.
