Acoustic Instrument Group

Open to club members who play any sort of acoustic instrument - including but not limited to guitar, banjo, mandolin, string bass, harmonica, ukulele and drum (and to those who just want to come and sing along). The format is a very informal jam session with song selection moving from player to player. Attendees are encouraged to bring several songs for the group to play - words and chords are appreciated. This is a no pressure setting - attendees are not required to do anything - and in fact do not have to play an instrument in order to attend as singing along is a big part of the experience. The group meets the 1st, 2nd, 3rd (with a few exceptions) and 4th Mondays of each month. See the Calendar for the exact dates and times.

Grand Chorale

An auditioned group of about 32 singers taken from the ranks of the Grand Singers. The Chorale performs a few songs at each of the Grand Singers' concerts. For more information, please contact info@grandmusicclub.com. Videos

Grand Singers

A chorus of 100+ volunteer singers. They rehearse once a week from September to April. They put on two concerts each year: one in the spring and a Holiday concert in early December. For more information, please contact info@grandmusicclub.com.

Grand Singers 2025 Holiday Concert

Concert dates are December 13 & 14, 2025
Chorus rehearsals begin September 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Sonoran Plaza. They are held every Wednesday afternoon until the concert.
Each member is responsible for purchasing their own music for the concert. However, those living in households with multiple Grand Singers can purchase music for those members.
Music Club members are to sign up to sing and order music online from July 10, 2025 through October 15, 2025.
Music pickup date is August 27, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Palo Verde room at Sonoran Plaza.
Music will also be available for pickup at 1:30 p.m. prior to rehearsals from September 3 through October 22, or until the maximum number of Singers has been reached.

Cutoff date for new singers is October 15, 2025. Returning singers cutoff is October 22, 2025.

Piano Connection

Do you play the piano? Do you sing or play an instrument which uses piano accompaniment? If you do, come and join Piano Connection. We welcome members at all talent levels. It is an ideal way to focus your practicing and, thereby, improving your musical results. Come and share your effort with us. Refreshments follow the music. The Good News Singers

The Good News Singers (formerly known as the Gospel Singers) perform at various senior residences as a community service. They have started up this September with Kathy Head as their new director.
