2025 CELEBRATION OF MUSIC
"Dream Big!"
We are excited to co-direct and produce the November 2025 Celebration of Music. Our theme for the show is “Dream Big!” We’re looking for music about dreams or dreaming, maybe what you are longing for, or just any wish you have that can be expressed in music! Have you ever wanted to sing country western in Nashville? Rock out with the Eagles? Croon like Sinatra or Michael Buble in Las Vegas? Find yourself on Broadway, or singing opera at the Met? Maybe you dream of winning the lottery or of finding true love?
The music could represent any dream you have! We are hoping that bands, instrumentalists, soloists, gospel groups or other ensembles will join us in making this a fun experience for everyone!
Show Dates:
Friday, November 14, 2025 at 7:00 PM in the Sonoran Plaza Ballroom
Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 7:00 PM in the Sonoran Plaza Ballroom
Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the Sonoran Plaza Ballroom
We'll have our rehearsal schedule once the cast has been selected, but in general, our plan is for you to work on your act on your own, and have it pretty much nailed down by October 24th, when we would get together so we could hear it. You wouldn't need to come for the entire rehearsal, a schedule will be provided well in advance. The only time when everyone will need to be there will be the tech rehearsals the week of the concert when we run the full show.
Just so you know, anyone can audition, but to actually be a part of the cast if selected, you must be a Music Club Member.
Audition Date/Time:
Monday, April 14, 9 am to 12 pm, Cimarron Club
Wednesday, April 16 to 12 to 3 pm, Cimarron Club
There will be a piano available - if you need something played for you for the audition, bring the sheet music. You also can bring an mp3 and we'll have a wireless speaker available for you for the audition. For the show, everything will be with live music.
